VTRIS

VTRIS is an arcade-style score chaser game about catching the blue V while surviving as long as possible, it's a fangame to the ever so addictive XTRIS made by Fletch.

Use the arrow keys to move the white tile diagonally toward the blue tile! When you collect the blue tile, it will move again, so you have to keep chasing it! Each time you collect it, the timer resets and gets slightly faster: accumulate as many points as you can and go for a highscore!

Controls

Menus:

• left / right arrow keys - navigate menu
• Z - enter level

Within a level:

• all arrow keys - move white square diagonally

About

I've been a huge fan of Fletch's work for a while, and Xtris really hooked me with it's simple yet really effective game design, so with a weekend spare between game projects and other important life duties I decided to have a go at a quick remake, which turned into a bit of a "diagonal spinoff" with some other tweaks.
